WPWPCA is offering Securing Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities Training (DEP Course #2952). The Pennsylvania Water & Wastewater Systems Operators' Certification Act mandates that the standards for certification, recertification and renewal of certification shall include training related to the security of water and wastewater systems. This course is designed to meet the system security training requirements of the Act. The learner will be able to recognize methods for developing and increasing security awareness as it applies to water and wastewater treatment facility operations. 

• 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM - Registration
• 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM - Session
• 11:00 AM -12:00 PM - Lunch (On your own)
• 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Session 

This Workshop is approved for 5 Water & Wastewater Contact Hours. Each participant will receive certificate of completion. Registration deadline is July 16, 2026.
