Job Description: The successful candidates will be responsible for existing clients as well as reestablishing and supporting new contacts with previous clients. These engineers will manage or help manage and successfully deliver municipal water, wastewater and environmental infrastructure projects that comply with the client and Chester Engineers quality, technical, schedule, and budget expectations. These professionals facilitate projects involving the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure facilities, especially in the areas of water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection, transmission, treatment, and effluent reuse/disposal.
Project responsibilities include, planning, staffing, schedule, budget, quality, safety and coordination of subcontractors and internal support not assigned to the project. Travel requirement is minimal.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years experience in wastewater collection systems with 5 years supervisory experience preferred. Responsibilities: · Provide management to collections/field staff of 7 union employees. · Schedule work duties; assure work schedules are completed in a timely, efficient manner. · Employee safety of all subordinate employees by assuring that employees are trained in safety, safety equipment is utilized and authority safety policies are followed. · Monitor and prepare monthly progress reports on operation & maintenance activities in Field Department. · Participate in preparation & administration of annual budgets for Field operations. · Make Recommendations for Improving Field operations both technically and financially. · Administer all aspects of purchasing for Field Department. · Supervise the installation, maintenance and repair of pump stations and wastewater collection system. · Supervise Inflow and Infiltration Investigations (I & I). Requirements: · Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment repair. · Possess strong verbal and organizational skills. · Proficient in Microsoft Work and Excel · Possess a valid PA Drivers License. · Trenching and excavation experience. · Knowledge of PA One Call procedures. · Heavy equipment operation knowledge.
Salary is dependent upon qualifications.
