Daniel B. Slagle

 

Daniel B. Slagle is President and Co-founder of Nichols & Slagle Engineering, Inc., a consulting firm located in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Water Resources Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and holds a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Dan has been an active member of the PWEA and the Western Pennsylvania Water Pollution Control Association for 25 years. During that time he has served as president of the Western Section and on the State Research Committee along with various other State and Section Committees. Dan has served as the Western Section Director to the PWEA since 1997.

Dan is a registered Professional Engineer with 26 years experience in environmental engineering specializing in municipal engineering, and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is also a registered Class A-1 Waterworks Operator and Sewage Plant Operator in the State of Pennsylvania.

Dan and his wife Donna are the proud parents of three daughters. Kristin is a 2003 graduate of the Schreyers Honor College at The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Katie will be entering her junior year at Penn State and plans to attend dental school. Rebecca will be entering 8th grade at Linton Middle School.
